it's bad enough that most MMOs are just lumberjack sims
They managed to mask it pretty good in Borderlands
Especially borderlands 2, playing on hardest difficulty/late game even freaking minion take ages to die and that's with you having the most OP guns in the entire game
The gunplay, visuals and feedback are just too damn addicting that you forget about the bullet spongie enemies
the difficulty settings will, according to demo tooltips, buff enemy hitpoints by up to 3100%
in Anthem, so depending on how powerful your weapons can get, it's probably going to be terribly grindy
%31000 <:what:382980756139409409>
Basically multiply by 31. Since 100%=1, 3100%=31

hard to judge EA as they have not make any star wars games yet
Makes it pretty easy actually, because that means that LucasArts did an objectively better job by actually making Star Wars games <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
The Force Unleashed was the last Star Wars game I remember enjoying
It was one of the last good ones that's for sure
I highly recommend Jedi Knight II if you want some good dueling gameplay, which TFU was lacking in imo
Although Jedi Knight II is a shooter for the first few levels which is annoying
It nails space and ground combat, the engine for those are fantastic. You can actually do strategy and shit it's awesome
Base game is pretty good, DLC is base game but expanded, and then there are the beautiful, beautiful mods
The mods that are so fucking phenomenal that they could be their own games
Seriously play EaW if you like RTS, it's awesome
modded Jedi Academy is better than Jedi Knight 2, imho
I don't have Jedi Academy so I can't confirm lmao
it's basically the same
All I know is that I have lots of fun dueling the enemies in the last level
the story is terrible, but the game itself is pretty fun
Second to last level I mean
as for duels, there's a great mod called Movie Duels
which lets you play scenarios based on the movies
I enjoy attacking the Jedi NPC's for maximum dueling
Although you can only kill 3 "friendly" NPC's before you lose, so you have to get a bit creative
it even lets you kill the younglings <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
Hell yeah fuck kids
Wait no
lol
the movie duels mod also allows you to just spawn in duelists to fight against
and lets you switch between teams on the fly
or you can pop in some npcs and watch them duel
