I think within many of the far left's social circles they get educated by media and their friends hearsay on words such as "globalist" which to these people is a far-right or alt-right conspiracy that the "Jews control the world" and another word for that conspiracy is "Globalist" in their circles. This is at least what I have witnessed from some "informant" about "terminology racists use" on things such as buzzfeed. I wish I could be more specific but I can't remember the source where I heard this trying to be spun as racist terminology to even say the word "globalist"
