yeah, Western Isle whiskys are more woody, with a smoother aftertaste than the Speyside whiskys, which are more of a heather odour with a sharper aftertaste.
All I know is we are a heelind clan and they drink a lot of firewater

In celebration of Australia Day, meet LNER A4 Pacific #4491 *Commonwealth of Australia*, one of the Coronation Sisters, 5 engines named after British territories to celebrate the King's coronation just before the war. They had a special band of silver running along the bottom of the engine.
The engines are
4488 Union of South Africa
4489 Dominion of Canada
4490 Empire of India
4491 Commonwealth of Australia
4492 Dominion of New Zealand
4488 and 4489 survived into preservation, and locomotive 4464 Bittern has worn the guise of 4492 in preservation (pictured here with a 2nd tender, the same that was modified for use with 4472 Flying Scotsman, obviously this isn't prototypical)
