And a lot of tinpot dictatorships like to call themself republics
someday
Ah sedition
they would still be part of the US
They had a chance several decades ago
just breaking up the state
Unfortunately their big rally was December 8th 1941
Too bad they don't have a clause like Texas' constitution
They reserve the right to divide into up to 5 separate states IIRC
“If the right to vote were expanded to seven year olds … its policies would most definitely reflect the ‘legitimate concerns’ of children to have ‘adequate’ and ‘equal’ access to ‘free’ french fries, lemonade and videos.”
-Hans-Hermann Hoppe
What is the point you are trying to make here?
oh it was a response to the quote Kulak refered too
oh OK
Can you give a TLDW?
Democracy needs checks and balances.
Yes otherwise it would be mob rule
The Tyranny of the majority can be just as bad as the Tyranny of a Dictator
Makes sense that collectivism forms a single body to act on others as a dictator
Democracy is the best system we currenty have
No it’s gay
It has flaws just like capitalism
im just explaining why Constituitonal Representative Republic is the correct term
Or indirect democracy
We vote for people to vote not we vote
I dont know how dirrect democracy could work in the US
They have ballout initiatives and they get low turnout

You’d think 👌 is the only emoji on this server with how often it’s used
“But the US prison system is worse than gulags it has more people!”
Very similar to US mili kills more than terrorism
A republic has to be democratic.
But not democratic for the people.
It could just as easily be democratic for the elite, I.e nobility, the rich, other politicians etc. These are not new concepts.
Venice was a republic for example.
Democracy is a spectrum
I have more options than John or Joyce?
Because this democracy of ours is full of choice
Spectrums are a thing bro
