How does everything have to be so complicated with people on the left and right calling themselves libertarians but still holding different values just make a different term

Seems to me that left/right libertarianism just differ on what they are libertarian on, where they tend to focus. Left libertarianism is more concerned with war on drugs, right libertarian is more concerned with guns & free speech as of late.

I hate that spectrum.
