@Deleted User Theatrics. It's all about sending a message
I think having them suffer and sqirm would be better theatrics

Back to writing shitty Articles in the Guardian and blowing Jeremy Corbyn for breakfast
having a McJob on your cv is a good thing as it shows you can deal the daily grind of a shit job
For my Europhile friends, this is a summation of the American philosophy, imo.
*Go West, young man.*
gonna need less edge on that
There's a couple things that put me off from the video. Though I have no issue with his narrative, I do have an issue by the way he says it. He omits certain aspects, that reinforce his agenda. For instance, he completely neglects that the "untamed and uncharted lands" were already inhabited quite populously by native tribes, and that they were not keen on the arrival of new settlers. The nation they built was through the exploitation and killing of natives to establish their settlements. The borders they fought to defend is rather unclear, as in the large majority of the wars the US participated in, it was the aggressor not the defender The borders it actually imposed were by the bullying of its much weaker neighbours, the Indian tribes, Spain and Mexico. The only border that they couldn't challenge was the Canadian one. Though his family didn't participate in the slave trade, or slavery, you cannot deny that they and he society of the time didn't benefit from it indirectly. Large plantations and farms were pivotal to establish the early economy as they exported these new and exotic materials. Not to mention the large amount of money that the trade of slaves itself brought. Lastly, you can't deny the fact that the US wasn't a nation of immigrants, a safe haven for the persecuted, and those venturing in the hopes to find wealth and a good living.
how is this relevant to <#372513679964635138> ?
