because I *can* provide you with specific examples of Venezuela taking away private property, and their stupid policies
run along now kiddies
Did I even say I was referring to you
imagine thinking that saying "run along" over and over makes you look anything other than childish pleb
I haven’t even read anything you’ve said my last comment was about religion 220 messages ago
But nice to know this guy knows he has one too
doesnt matter what you were referring to
still applies
I now realize why you thought I was talking to you
because you said something right after I said it, yeah
weird how I might interpret that as directed at me
Mom crying right now this guy doesn’t even get the meta
lmao memes am I right
What’s the american view of GMO’s in general?
haha
At first I thought the unicorn man was acting out a funny joke but then when he said "Trump" I realized wait this is just a liberal.
@MountainMan Mixed
CRYSTIAL SHIPS DOWN THE INSIDES?!
DAMN!!!!
When you get past the initial uninformed opinions, things get pretty grey and nuanced, like worrying about genetically modified invasive species crowding out local biomes and such
Gotta git me a liberal stick!
Ahhhh okay @Fitzydog
I mean, I don't think eating GMOs are a problem. Even lab grown meat.
But it's the processing that is a concern. Indestructible mega corn from coast to coast is not something I look forward to...
Well pretty much everything we eat today is gmo. They have been modified from previously inedible plants.
That's why I don't understand the fear of GMO's,
Sure mono cultures are dangerous. And having every plant in the world be resistant to everything will make bug life have a bad time. But there are probably solutions to those too.
The fear of GMO's is mainly fueled by scientific illiteracy and ignorance, and pushed by politicians that see easy votes in appearing as a moral crusader by standing in opposition to the evil Frankenstein veggies.
^
failing crops a few years blame the evil GMO not that you did reroute the main river to make a huge powerplant
And enviros
Yeah.
And hippy food purists
Yep, plenty of organisations and NGOs with a financial reason for opposing them
https://twin-cities.umn.edu/news-events/man-who-saved-billion-lives the power of GMO
I just lovr when people are like, "i hate gmos" as they eat something made of wheat flower, potatoes, and chicken.
NGOs often very left-leaning, which is amazingly hypocritical when they also claim to support developing countries
