because I *can* provide you with specific examples of Venezuela taking away private property, and their stupid policies

2018-10-24 12:25:46 UTC

@wrath @turtwig imagine thinking you're an intellectual by calling someone dumb without providing anything

2018-10-24 12:25:53 UTC

run along now kiddies

2018-10-24 12:26:23 UTC

Did I even say I was referring to you

2018-10-24 12:26:29 UTC

imagine thinking that saying "run along" over and over makes you look anything other than childish pleb

2018-10-24 12:26:43 UTC

I haven’t even read anything you’ve said my last comment was about religion 220 messages ago

2018-10-24 12:26:54 UTC

But nice to know this guy knows he has one too

2018-10-24 12:27:33 UTC

doesnt matter what you were referring to

2018-10-24 12:27:36 UTC

still applies

2018-10-24 12:28:01 UTC

I now realize why you thought I was talking to you

2018-10-24 12:28:22 UTC

because you said something right after I said it, yeah

2018-10-24 12:28:30 UTC

2018-10-24 12:28:47 UTC

Mom crying right now this guy doesn’t even get the meta

2018-10-24 12:29:07 UTC

lmao memes am I right

2018-10-24 14:25:09 UTC

What’s the american view of GMO’s in general?

haha

2018-10-24 15:13:45 UTC

At first I thought the unicorn man was acting out a funny joke but then when he said "Trump" I realized wait this is just a liberal.

2018-10-24 15:25:03 UTC

CRYSTIAL SHIPS DOWN THE INSIDES?!

2018-10-24 15:25:04 UTC

DAMN!!!!

2018-10-24 15:25:12 UTC

When you get past the initial uninformed opinions, things get pretty grey and nuanced, like worrying about genetically modified invasive species crowding out local biomes and such

2018-10-24 15:25:13 UTC

Gotta git me a liberal stick!

2018-10-24 15:26:16 UTC

Ahhhh okay @Fitzydog

2018-10-24 15:29:17 UTC

I mean, I don't think eating GMOs are a problem. Even lab grown meat.

But it's the processing that is a concern. Indestructible mega corn from coast to coast is not something I look forward to...

2018-10-24 16:11:54 UTC

Well pretty much everything we eat today is gmo. They have been modified from previously inedible plants.

2018-10-24 16:14:00 UTC

That's why I don't understand the fear of GMO's,

2018-10-24 16:14:34 UTC

Sure mono cultures are dangerous. And having every plant in the world be resistant to everything will make bug life have a bad time. But there are probably solutions to those too.

2018-10-24 16:17:42 UTC

The fear of GMO's is mainly fueled by scientific illiteracy and ignorance, and pushed by politicians that see easy votes in appearing as a moral crusader by standing in opposition to the evil Frankenstein veggies.

2018-10-24 16:17:50 UTC

^

2018-10-24 16:18:49 UTC

failing crops a few years blame the evil GMO not that you did reroute the main river to make a huge powerplant

2018-10-24 16:18:53 UTC

And enviros

2018-10-24 16:19:14 UTC

Yeah.

2018-10-24 16:19:16 UTC

And hippy food purists

2018-10-24 16:19:39 UTC

Yep, plenty of organisations and NGOs with a financial reason for opposing them

2018-10-24 16:19:59 UTC

I just lovr when people are like, "i hate gmos" as they eat something made of wheat flower, potatoes, and chicken.

2018-10-24 16:20:03 UTC

NGOs often very left-leaning, which is amazingly hypocritical when they also claim to support developing countries
