YouTube should have set up there own Patreon type thing a long time ago, they would have made a lot more money
Some channels have a "join" button next to their subscribe button and it's a way to donate to a channel, but I don't know if you can set your own donation amount
as long YT is run by ideologs, it not a safe platform for content creators as you never know when they come for your type of content as it suddenly seem as wrong think and specially with that they have started to retractility punish people. your orginal content from 5-10 years ago can get you banned as it deemed as "bad" now
