They have one in Denver that's high tech as shit in the center of the mall
even food retail is changing a lot, several companies are testing out self checkouts. but it looks atm as the benefits of loosing a cashier comes at a cost of much bigger losses from theft
And basic entry level jobs disappear. Where are kids gonna work if McDonalds and everywhere else don't hire as much?

a lot of companys do hire older people now as they are sick with the unreliably of people under 25
you could probably fit an entire mcdonalds operation into the back of a truck
imagine an army of mobile mcdonalds-in-a-box-truck shops that have a small army of drones and a single driver that can also hand out orders directly from within the truck
order from the app, it gets your gps location and drone delivers your food
all of that shit is getting automated... from cook to cashier
not just a food truck
but a fully automated McDonalds food truck with a swarm of drones to do deliveries
That'll last just as long as it takes a drone to fall on someone and kill them
