Animal farm is relatively short, like four or five hours, maybe less. It's really great. It works as a simple story about animals taking over their farm, but what it's an allegory for is what makes it special.

That's pretty standard reading for a lot of American school kids

When i was in grade school i figured out that animal farm was about commies and my teacher at the time tried to convince me it wasn't
