it is right or wrong behavior
How many people who claim to objective morality follow said morality completely?
Those principles are also heavily influenced by the surrounding Society. when you lose the context of the society surrounding or principles they often break down to be something entirely different and you'll find yourself killing people based purely on the fact that they're picking your fucking tomatoes
you attempt to
Fact: Greyfags are dummies
@🌻 togepi 🌻 - Zero. Better than going with nothing though.
@🌻 togepi 🌻 How many people with subjective morality can claim to be doing good 100% of the time?
Nobody is perfect, but it's good to move towards it vs not.
whoooa stop the chat
i just got sensord by discord
If morality is an objective standard of right and wrong, that exists indipendantly of anyone's individual perception of it, from whence cometh this standard?
Just finished watching Shapiro. Hes the GOAT
how?
I'm in voice if anyone wants to join.
wrote a comment on my phone and it never showed up here
the point of subjective morality is that you can judge right and wrong based on the situation, and make the best decision every time without adhering to any rigid code
@flyingfoxel - Censored how?
so yes you can do right 100% of the time
Sure you didn't just fat finger it?
@meratrix connections fine
both devices are on the same network
@flyingfoxel Does it show on your phone and if so is it a different color of grey?
NOTE: Just because something is moral, that doesn't mean it will keep you alive. Sometimes you have to override morality to survive.
If there is an objective code and you disagree with what it dictates in a situation, wouldnt that mean youve had a subjective thought?
nope it;s just gone on this screen on comp like it never exsisted
🤷
``` If morality is an objective standard of right and wrong, that exists independently of anyone's individual perception of it, from whence cometh this standard?````
If math is an objective standard independently of anyone's individual perception of it, from whence cometh this standard?
@Roarey They keyword here, is "good" and your ability to judge what that means
@🌻 togepi 🌻 - Just like laws that you know, you can override them.
so youve made a subjective decision
and have a subjective morality deep down
I will go back to my original question
It wouldn't mean you have a subjective morality. It just would mean you didn't comply with objective morality.
thanks for tagging every time btw
What makes Misery better or worse than pleasure?
The definition of the word morality is what is considered right and wrong. I'm asking a fucking simple question, because you, Paul, made the claim that morality is objective and indipendant from human perceptions. I'm asking you to tell me where it comes from if it is indipendant of people.
so you overrid the law, by your own judgement, but it is still objective, but you thought the wrong thing was right?
