Let me spell it out
A set of discrete objects is countable and can represent a real number. Combining two sets represents adding two numbers, removing a subset from a set represents subtraction, etc.
Repeat for multiplication and division.
Objects have always been a thing, so yes math has always existed.

ah ah counting is math and doesn't exist try agian

I asked you to prove that math exists

2018-11-01 03:58:43 UTC

I will now ask you to read

2018-11-01 03:58:44 UTC

It was just proven above.

2018-11-01 03:59:08 UTC

πŸ€”

2018-11-01 03:59:20 UTC

I dont think you understand what prove means

2018-11-01 03:59:30 UTC

I don't think you understand set theory.

2018-11-01 03:59:32 UTC

I dont think you understand what math is

2018-11-01 03:59:37 UTC

2018-11-01 04:00:17 UTC

The addition and subtraction of objects is always true, even without observation.

2018-11-01 04:00:25 UTC

I dont think you understand my point

2018-11-01 04:00:46 UTC

If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it, is there one less tree standing?
yes

if i do not set a standard of evidence and when you try and explain the concept just say that does not meet my standard

2018-11-01 04:01:30 UTC

that is not an honest conversation

2018-11-01 04:01:37 UTC

wut

2018-11-01 04:01:55 UTC

"Prove" *is* a set standard

2018-11-01 04:02:00 UTC

If youre talking about us not accepting a proof for objective morality, you havent exactly put one forth

2018-11-01 04:02:23 UTC

You have already said it is unprovable

2018-11-01 04:02:36 UTC

Because dan's a glue huffing, crayon chewing idiot

2018-11-01 04:02:42 UTC

> its unprovable
> change my mind

2018-11-01 04:02:54 UTC

and that is a sincere invitation

2018-11-01 04:03:07 UTC

What is your standard of evidence to change your mind?

2018-11-01 04:03:31 UTC

a series of well structured arguments that are logically consistent

2018-11-01 04:03:32 UTC

It's from a catholic so it can't be all the sincere

2018-11-01 04:03:33 UTC

> proof

2018-11-01 04:03:49 UTC

Ok

2018-11-01 04:04:12 UTC

Do you know AristotleΒ΄s argument for a first mover?

2018-11-01 04:04:18 UTC

yes πŸ˜‚

2018-11-01 04:04:27 UTC

ok that is our starting point

2018-11-01 04:04:38 UTC

lemme stop you right there

2018-11-01 04:04:45 UTC

Let him finish

2018-11-01 04:04:55 UTC

I started my own server, does anyone wanna join?

2018-11-01 04:04:56 UTC

I have a beef with first mover

2018-11-01 04:05:00 UTC

ok

2018-11-01 04:05:14 UTC

If nothing can move on its own, something must move first right?

2018-11-01 04:06:02 UTC

Chqnge my mind: the R9 fury is better than the GTX 1080

2018-11-01 04:06:10 UTC

that is not the argument it is a question of: can there be an infinite regress?
