the objective morality by definition would be indescribable by a human as we could not understand it
Option 1).
Morality is objective, but you can go against it with subjective descisions.
Option 2).
Morality is subjective.

calling all academics lmao 📞
That doesn't answer the question.
was posting a quote
h/o
academics plz respond
Yeah Paul, explain the morality of the universe right now please
So what makes christian morality the true objective morality as opposed to say...
satanic morality?
No is doesn't Dan. Because murder would go against the natural imperative of the human species, ensuring the species survival.
Whereas in other species the weaklings are killed because their survival will be a detriment to the survival of a species.
how dare you posit a theory that there's an objective morality without being ready to define the code of the universe
The fundamental Christian ethics
@DanConway I'm responding to the quote you deleted.
@HungBunny don't make a claim if you can't back it up. He claims there's an objective morality, but won't say what it is or where it comes from or how he knows its there. It's nothing but an empty assertion and he's done nothing but dodge answering to any of it for over an hour. Bloody unbelievable.
the point of the quote was that arguing about which one is better implies there is a correct answer outside of personal preference in order for it to be a meaningful conversation
Being outside of personal preference does not make it objective. Hence the example I provided above.
Arguing which one is better means there's an argument. Which means there are people who believe in each side.
The sky is blue nigga
So there can't be a bloody objective true or false can they.
That's true no matter who says it
its something we can't know but must technically exist, like which kind of cheese is objectively the best in the universe
Because these moral religious battles are staying the same for hundreds of years and are never ever settled
So what makes christian morality the true objective morality as opposed to say...
satanic morality?
Paul pls respond u mustve missed this the first time
BTW, Natural Imperative was not arguing for objective imperative. Just to be clear on that.
God I hate dishonest actors. Makes me sick.
@Roarey that's why Catholics should be exterminated
Ladies and Gentlemen
We gotem
Once he starts straight up ignoring our arguments its over
Im not even sure what satanic morality is
Oh its very nice dont worry
Secular Humanism you mean?
