one guy running a 2 bay drive through ordering system, swapping between bays

took our order but rang it in in the display of the other bay, didn't think anything of it

went round to window, paid for food

went to next window "here are your drinks, park up food will be 2 minutes"

wait 2 minutes, no food

wait another 10 minutes, still no food

go inside "we've been waiting almost 15 minutes and our food hasn't come out"

'what did you order?'

so I reel it off

guy comes back with someone else's receipt 'is this your order?'

"no" then reel off order again

5 mins later guy appears with a bag

"does it have the two extra hashbrowns?"

'yes'

open bag, no extra hashbrowns, go back to counter ask for extra hashbrowns

receive extra hashbrowns and return to car, food is not even remotely what I ordered

go back in "refund now"

'okay what did you order'

so I reel it off again and he starts ringing it in

'oops I forgot to press refund I have to start again'

god fucking damn it

all because their ANPR had the wrong reg

because the kid in the drive through is an actual retard

so whoever's car was in that bay will have got our food and had a similar bullshit experience

except they drove off before they realised
