usmca prevents china (and others) from dumping goods in mexico and canada and passing it freely into the u.s. under the guise of being canadian or mexican goods

@Str3tch what is that suppose to mean? The USMCA pretty much makes us the North American Union at this point. That's pretty much what the TPP wanted us to be except that they also wanted to create trade unions with Asian countries.
the USMCA does not exacerbate already existing problems with NAFTA. It closes a very important loophole, and that's it.
so i suppose one could say it's a failure if they were expecting a full nafta reversal
