Nestorians are largely isolated to Asia and Syria/Lebanon

2019-04-21 08:29:51 UTC

Alright. Tell me your bench record lads

2019-04-21 12:11:22 UTC

85kg

2019-04-21 12:11:45 UTC

Upper body is my weak point

2019-04-21 12:11:58 UTC

It's a lot lower than it should be

2019-04-21 12:23:06 UTC

focus on building biceps for strength, triceps for strength, shoulder for strength

2019-04-21 12:23:31 UTC

ive noticed my hammer curl went up some amount so did my bench.

2019-04-21 12:23:54 UTC

my overhead press went up so did my bench

2019-04-21 12:24:30 UTC

technically theres two schools of thought in how to get strong at movements: a) focus on the movement. b) get strong muscles that do the movement

2019-04-21 12:24:44 UTC

the right answer is different on every movement/lift

2019-04-21 12:24:57 UTC

For bench its mostly B.

2019-04-21 12:25:35 UTC

So whatever your hammer curl is now then get it up by 50% and you will be considerably stronger than you were before.

2019-04-21 12:25:54 UTC

Get your overhead press up 20kg and you will be a lot stronger.

2019-04-21 12:26:07 UTC

These are large increases but still you get the point.

2019-04-21 12:26:41 UTC

Something like overhead press might be more of the A variant where u should do the movement rather than bodybuild your shoulders

2019-04-21 12:26:48 UTC

though you should do both

2019-04-21 12:29:01 UTC

On bench ive noticed people either have really strong shoulders (jamie lewis) or strong arms(James Strickland). Strong shoulders is more beginner friendly (I believe) but strong arms take more effort and will take you further. Strong both will give you godlike benching tho (larry wheels).

2019-04-21 12:34:40 UTC

Thanks bro

2019-04-21 12:34:56 UTC

I spend most of my time doing squats and neglect upper body

2019-04-21 12:36:52 UTC

also search for "mark bell bench advice" he has something out there too such as trying to bend the bar by twisting the arms inwards towards yourself etc.

2019-04-21 15:43:08 UTC

@Quarantine_Zone Thanks for the explanation mate! Appreciate it!

2019-04-21 15:44:09 UTC

@Deleted User I do biceps curls straight into an overhead press. Is this healthy to do or not? It’s worked well and definitely built me up, but I’m not wondering if it’s harming the support muscles and tendons.

Got a quick pump in on Easter between church and dinner with the family, if Christ can move huge boulders, I can lift some iron
