Pretty!

2019-04-22 07:53:49 UTC

I do wonder if Pontius Pilate is a saint.

2019-04-22 07:54:28 UTC

It would be very difficult to *not* convert after experiencing everything he did.

2019-04-22 15:09:21 UTC

i think he converted himself

2019-04-22 15:09:32 UTC

after all he tried to let Jesus free

2019-04-22 15:09:37 UTC

some times

2019-04-22 16:49:04 UTC

He was compelled by his wife if I remember correctly.

2019-04-22 16:49:20 UTC

His wife definitely converted through Mary Magdalene.

2019-04-23 03:37:11 UTC

Pialte was at the cusp of conversion. But because of a combination of doubts, engrossment in paganism, and the political ramifications of conversation, it's safe to say if he did convert, he kept it secret

2019-04-23 03:37:24 UTC

We should pray for him

2019-04-23 04:55:27 UTC

His wife had a nightmare and told him to have nothing to do with Jesus

2019-04-23 04:58:57 UTC

I lump him in with Judas. Regardless of how good their motives sound they sacrificed their virtue. Pilate maybe has hope since he didn't wuss out and kill himself before he could seek redemption. I do not know if he sought it though based on the pagan culture of the Romans.

2019-04-23 05:00:56 UTC

His neutrality still costed him

Pilate had his hand tied at the time. His good friend had just been tired and executed for treason and now Pilate was being watched very closely. He had to keep a riot from happening at all costs, or it would’ve been interpreted as him trying to start trouble for Rome in his province. He really didn’t want to kill Jesus, but he wasn’t going to want to stick his neck out too far since he was on a knife’s edge himself. I’m sure God would’ve had mercy on him given his difficult situation and the fact he actually tried to get Jesus set free. The only ones who are sole to blame for Jesus’ death are the Jews. Of course though, Jesus had to die that we may be redeemed. But the Jews are still the ones responsible for it.

2019-04-23 22:24:26 UTC

Most of the Jews were wiped out during the second destruction of the temple in Jerusalem during the riots then though.

2019-04-23 22:24:34 UTC

So a lot of them ended up paying for it

2019-04-23 22:24:48 UTC

However, enough survived to still be a threat to this day

2019-04-24 09:40:54 UTC

Though he didnt know Jesus, in the short time he was with him it is clear he was able to recognize he was no mere normla man and tried to save him

Ok, I have almost finished assembling the definitive drawing kit in a single, easy to transport bag, with 70 colored pencil, 60 watercolor cololred pencils, 48 colored pastel pencils, 3 charcoal pencils, 3 pure graphite pencils, 3 pure graphite, XXL pencils, 2 water soluble sketching pencils, 4 lumograph black non-graphite pencils, 24 graphite pencil from 9B to 9H, a rubber pencil for precise erasing, an electric eraser, 5 black markers, 2 chromed markers, a compass, a sharpener, two different erasers and a 1.5cm long knife. I have black, tan, and white paper.

Any ideas for some drawing? Something christian, and if possible that doesn't erquire too much anatomy knowledge

2019-04-25 18:43:41 UTC

2019-04-25 18:44:29 UTC

Should draw a monastery on a mountain

2019-04-25 21:11:22 UTC

That one is more challenging, since I don't have a good idea of the size of a monastery relative to the roks of a mountain

Can basically vary as much as you want, big thing about buildings on mountains is drawing the mountain then working around it
