This is why the Pope needs to speak up.

2019-05-12 02:06:28 UTC
2019-05-12 02:07:22 UTC

That's lower than the others

2019-05-12 02:07:47 UTC

Yeah, but 51% is still too high

2019-05-15 03:58:41 UTC

peasants and nobles unite against the burgher menace

2019-05-15 04:16:20 UTC

what is a burgher

2019-05-15 04:22:31 UTC

Burghers are like the middle class of society

2019-05-15 04:22:39 UTC

Well to do folks that aren't nobles

2019-05-15 10:35:42 UTC

In other words, the bourgeoise?

2019-05-15 12:59:14 UTC

You could be in the top 10% richest in the country and still not be a nobleman

2019-05-15 13:10:17 UTC

That's probably the case with the majority of countries which still have a functioning nobility nowadays.

2019-05-15 15:40:58 UTC

That's been the case forever

2019-05-15 15:41:09 UTC

Around 5% nobility

2019-05-15 15:41:56 UTC

At the founding of the US the percentage of people eligible to vote was smaller than the noble class of any European country, ever

2019-05-17 11:31:08 UTC

do you have any resources to answer to when people say "Jesus never wanted us to make depictions of him"

2019-05-17 11:31:14 UTC

usually from baptists

2019-05-17 11:33:58 UTC

Uhh... that whole story where he toweled his sweaty face and the cloth bore his image

2019-05-17 11:34:06 UTC

That is counted as the first icon

2019-05-17 11:36:18 UTC

well that's true, but i mean more specific biblical quotes or general explenation, just so i can use it in arguments. The shroud of turin is good for when debating that point with catholics or orthodox in doubt, but harder to debate with baptists or evangelicals if you know what i mean.

2019-05-17 11:36:23 UTC

Lmao there is no reason to think that in the first place

2019-05-17 11:36:30 UTC

It is complete madness

2019-05-17 11:36:34 UTC

Probably taken from muslims

2019-05-17 11:36:56 UTC

Tell them that Islam will embrace their iconoclasy

2019-05-17 11:38:17 UTC

There's no real scripture for or against it, idolatry is only against false gods

2019-05-17 11:38:41 UTC

i think it's the one where god says "Thou shalt not have any graven image of me"
