Not by heart, Exodus or Leviticus I believe
No not that
That they needed to be clean just to present the animal and kill it
That's what ceremonial cleanliness is for
Well i dont remember that you needed to do that as a non priest for the sacrifice
God didn't just make arbitrary diet laws for no reason, it was all to serve a purpose for that covenant
Yes, i believe that there is a purpose
I just dont think that for the regular Israelite that was the reason
The priest had further obligation to keep ceremonial cleanliness, and had to go further than laymen, but most of the laws pertained to common people for that reason
Otherwise the 'cleanliness' would be pointless
But they weren't to touch anything holy
They weren't regardless
Not it is not, as i said i connect that to the vow
The vow is irrelevant
No its not lol
Ok so
It was a sect of people doing a side thing, like monks
Not everyone is expected to live as a monk
I believe that keeping the cleanliness laws makes a room for the holy spirit to get in
The holy spirit is already in
Well I dont think that it is in everyone
The holy spirit does what it pleases
It is not constrained by the weakness of men
It is a part of God isnt it?
You’re back into larping as a jew
Can you stop
@MawLr can you stop we are actually having a civilized conversation
Something thst you are unable to do
I see no civility in your barbaric claims
@SUPER MALE VITALITY™ can you explain to me your views for the holy spirit according to the new testament
Jew
The holy spirit is the third person of the trinity, God himself, and God is not limited by any barrier but that which He puts up for Himself to show us mercy
To claim that the consumption of some substance could lead to some magic resistance that keeps out the Creator of All, Sovereign King of Heaven and Earth, is blasphemy
But if the holy spirit is a part of God
dafuq
you guys are STILL talking?!
*Is God
I can go forever lmao
Yeah part of the trinity
