@Dasick I can listen
Kinda not in a position to respond tho
But just explain your point
@Dasick yea understandable, if you aren’t just dabbing on people and mean this sincerely then I definitely am curious
@Dasick yes
@Dasick he left
@Dasick yea I get you
mfw Sweet Home Alabama is satan's work according to Dasick <:australian_sad:603879505085464576>
because rock music has some structures to it, Dasick
they're not ongoing compositions like classic music
@Dasick repetitive progression right but how does that make it satanic
you should listen more to prog rock
reductant music doesn't make it satanic, but there's not only "reductant" rock music out there
that's nostalgic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tna0Mmu1XlI here's a good request for you Dasick, you might like this one
these songs are not really just a bit close to what rap is nowadays
I'm from Brazil, you wouldn't stand a second of what people listen to here mostly
if you think rock is repetitive, the most famous kind of music here is just literally one beat and a junkie singing over it with autotune
I can see why you say rock is repetitive, but that's just because it follows an order of composition, like it has its chorus, its outro, its solo and so on
there are no grace in which sense?
well yeah, I forgot the term for songs that never repeat themselves, but they're mostly classic music
but even rock has non "repetitive" songs, mostly prog rock and prog metal
metal was firstly originated from rock tho
originally it isn't
like you saw 70's rock and you saw the first metal movements in the UK called New Wave of British Heavy metal, and they were clearly inspired from rock
btw you need to understand how electronic instruments were at the time of rock and everything was new and that's why some bands were literally copy + paste of other ones. You saw Led Zeppelin getting famous over stealing music off of jazz and blues' artists for example
yeah Dasick, if you don't listen to reggaeton or brazilian funk, that's something to be thankful for lol
yeah we're all boomers
there are some bands I listen to that I don't really agree with their lyricism but I just listen for the good work, the effort put on the music writing itself
I've met degenerated people that listen to classic music
