@Dasick I can listen

2019-10-23 00:48:45 UTC

Kinda not in a position to respond tho

2019-10-23 00:48:50 UTC

But just explain your point

2019-10-23 00:49:43 UTC

@Dasick yea understandable, if you aren’t just dabbing on people and mean this sincerely then I definitely am curious

2019-10-23 00:53:16 UTC

@Dasick he left

2019-10-23 00:54:39 UTC

@Dasick yea I get you

2019-10-23 00:56:34 UTC

mfw Sweet Home Alabama is satan's work according to Dasick <:australian_sad:603879505085464576>

2019-10-23 00:58:51 UTC

because rock music has some structures to it, Dasick

2019-10-23 00:59:09 UTC

they're not ongoing compositions like classic music

2019-10-23 00:59:59 UTC

@Dasick repetitive progression right but how does that make it satanic

2019-10-23 01:01:40 UTC

you should listen more to prog rock

2019-10-23 01:02:29 UTC

reductant music doesn't make it satanic, but there's not only "reductant" rock music out there

2019-10-23 01:05:39 UTC

that's nostalgic

2019-10-23 01:07:31 UTC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tna0Mmu1XlI here's a good request for you Dasick, you might like this one

2019-10-23 01:09:33 UTC

these songs are not really just a bit close to what rap is nowadays

2019-10-23 01:10:18 UTC

I'm from Brazil, you wouldn't stand a second of what people listen to here mostly

2019-10-23 01:11:27 UTC

if you think rock is repetitive, the most famous kind of music here is just literally one beat and a junkie singing over it with autotune

2019-10-23 01:12:11 UTC

I can see why you say rock is repetitive, but that's just because it follows an order of composition, like it has its chorus, its outro, its solo and so on

2019-10-23 01:13:03 UTC

there are no grace in which sense?

2019-10-23 01:14:14 UTC

well yeah, I forgot the term for songs that never repeat themselves, but they're mostly classic music

2019-10-23 01:14:37 UTC

but even rock has non "repetitive" songs, mostly prog rock and prog metal

2019-10-23 01:15:16 UTC

metal was firstly originated from rock tho

2019-10-23 01:15:35 UTC

originally it isn't

2019-10-23 01:16:10 UTC

like you saw 70's rock and you saw the first metal movements in the UK called New Wave of British Heavy metal, and they were clearly inspired from rock

2019-10-23 01:20:55 UTC

btw you need to understand how electronic instruments were at the time of rock and everything was new and that's why some bands were literally copy + paste of other ones. You saw Led Zeppelin getting famous over stealing music off of jazz and blues' artists for example

2019-10-23 01:21:53 UTC

yeah Dasick, if you don't listen to reggaeton or brazilian funk, that's something to be thankful for lol

2019-10-23 01:23:10 UTC

yeah we're all boomers

2019-10-23 01:25:03 UTC

there are some bands I listen to that I don't really agree with their lyricism but I just listen for the good work, the effort put on the music writing itself

2019-10-23 01:25:23 UTC

I've met degenerated people that listen to classic music

2019-10-23 01:26:34 UTC
