He argued that Christ being divine is blasphamy because we're all God's children. 😂
And then tried to claim the Qu'ran was logical.
Muslims are theologically illiterate
Otherwise they wouldn't be muslims, since there are literally 0 reasons to be muslim
Just think about it: there is no great feat by Muhammed, he even bragged about not having any miracles. There are no prophecies
Ask someone why he is a muslim
Oh, I'm well aware of all this
And the answer will be some vague parroted garbage
Mfw I see a Christian Marxist
No such thing
>mfw I remind Christian Marxists that Christ was a taxpaying tradesman.
I once got into a theological debate over the Trinity with a semi practicing Jew
That was fun, considering I used the Protestant method at the time
>talking to jews
>not gassing them
hold up I didn't go that far

@Mozalbete ⳩ is right that there are different kinds of inferiority
God loves everyone, and everyone is a sinner before him and æqually in need of salvation from outside
but of course not everyone is morally æqual
@Romanus Drevo two people brought up the same way will be more similar than otherwise, of course, but I think all parents know there are differences between their children which came from genes and not from different upbringing
Excuse my ignorance but I fail to see why people say rights come from God
Stuff like this is just being thrown around and never explained
What have the privileges my goverment has given to me anything to do with it
Well that was the first aproximation to the theory of fundamental or human rights, normally founded in the fact that we are created creatures, but not at the same level as animals or plants, since we are created at image of God. Therefore, we have some kind of rights that the State can't violate, since humans are created at image of God and those violations means a violation of the dignity God have gave us
Thank you
You're welcome fam
I’ve just spent my evening trying to explain to an Irishman how his country is heading for the gutter if his fellow countrymen don’t make serious and drastic changes, only for him to respond gloatingly about how terrible England currently is.
This is why blind nationalism is terrible.
A substantial part of loving your country is being prepared to admit that she’s becoming horrifically bad, whilst trying to change such.
Yet now when I wish to reconcile with him, he continues to respond with anti-English jokes and insults.
I don’t know why I try.
The more you get to know them, the more you tend to realise how quite politically unsound even conservative Irish people are.
The problem with Ireland is that it was a country built on clericalism enforced by democratically elected leaders.
Whilst clericalism is all well and good, you cannot trust a representative democracy to uphold it.
The founding principles of the Irish Republic caused nothing more than a Frankenstein state.
Clericalism, Catholic social policy, no distinct separation of Church and state, yet with regular elections, a secular head of state, unending social freedoms, and absolute equality.
It makes no sense. It’s a bastardised hybrid system.
It’s for the exact same reason that we ought not be too excited about the newfound socially conservative successes in the US and Italy.
Democracy and Christian virtues never successfully cohabit for more than a few decades (at most).
I hope you’ll forgive my rant. I’ve just become incredibly irritated by some democracy-supporting Christians as of late.
