The Russian is influenced by Latin ones, but it is better than them.

The orthodox one is worth nothing compared to the Catholic one.

The latin one is just the priest saying he is there to let you know that God forgives you. It doesn't reject the fact that only God can forgive you.

This place given to the priest in the Roman Church is a direct consequence of the Council of Trent, where the position of the priest within the Church has really changed.

What's interesting for Lutherans is that we generally attach sacraments to a particular reading of a scripture passage, but absolution does not have a specific reading, but rather references John 20:19-23 instead. If I recall our ordination rite (considered a sacrament by some Lutherans, including my church) has multiple scripture readings.
