I’ve been thinking about Prometheus lately

He’s similar to Satan

In that he gave a divine element to an unworthy race

And was also punished for his crime

Satan was defeated by the cross, Prometheus was defeated by Jupiter’s eagle

Thus both the eagle and the cross symbolise the triumph of the good and the divine

Prometheus and Satan could represent Robespierre, Solon and George Washington who all brought freedom and authority to an unworthy race

Man was not worthy of fire nor was he worthy to have knowledge of good and evil and he is not worthy to rule and have freedom through foul things like Democracy

They could also represent the Jews who have given us “freedom” through Democracy, Capitalism, Bolshevism and liberalism and by going so have undone us

That's the beauty of symbolism in certain legends and mythos. They can be construed multiple ways, and were used as such
