Also
Calvinism is only a few centuries old
Divine intervvention enables salvatgion
If Calvinism was the way I'm pretty sure we'd have a huge Calvinist church worldwide
funny how its mainly localized to the Americas
You still have free will that will determine whether you accept the grace or reject it
This is constantly reminded in Scripture, we don't have a path that is set in stone. Salvation is open, but people can go against it
So salvation is by grace, but grace can be rejected. People can or not collaborate
The old saying goes "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink"
Ad Augusta per Angusta
And god has a huge lake
you will never find salvation as a consequence of your own free will, this is because we are inherently broken. only by God's intervention can we be guided towards salvation.
You said that already.
Salvation is by grace, but you have to make the right choices. You can reject God's guidance

Damn guess we should just sin then, since we won't get saved
If only I can get off my butt and get God's will
shame I cant tho
Ugh I don't feel like going to church guise.

its not that you SHOULD sin, its that you couldnt NOT sin even if you tried
Imagine thinking this.
We both know that is absurd
I mean, what does "even if you tried" mean there?
That there is a temptation to sin?
Tfw your pious life is only pious if God bugged you on birth.
Less memery
@ninjacats no one is denying that people sin
but you can always choose to sin LESS
you dont have a choice. you were born chained to sin. you cant see past sin. you dont have the capability
Any good deed or good inclination is not done by your own self, whenever you don’t commit evil it’s thanks to God
But choose negligence and God cannot act against your free will
tfw Im not born with the God gene
You are mixing concepts
People can choose not to collaborate with God's grace, and reject Christ thus damning themselves
example: The jews
This has nothing to do with "the jews"
This is about actual people
Not groups that are related to some events
im saying that jews (as depicted in the OT) debunks this guy's whole calvinist arguement
