I saw the funniest thing on TeeVee the other day.

2019-01-13 19:35:11 UTC

Some Swedish quiz show.

2019-01-13 19:35:47 UTC

The contestants were given a subject, and then got to decide whether to answer a question on that subject, or send the question to somebody they figured would fail.

2019-01-13 19:36:13 UTC

All the Swedes kept passing Sweden-related questions to the token immigrant contestant. 😄

2019-01-13 19:37:01 UTC

kek

2019-01-13 19:37:17 UTC

vem vet mest?

2019-01-13 19:37:40 UTC

Uh. I didn't pay *that* much attention.

2019-01-13 19:37:52 UTC

Iirc, in America, to become a citizen, you have to pass a test in American civics. So it's actually possible here that naturalized immigrants know more about American history and government than a lot of people born here.
