Seriously I've been all around Asia, and so far only seen it in Taiwan

2018-04-03 16:42:07 UTC

yeah, i don't see anything wrong with that

2018-04-03 16:42:11 UTC

just use it how you like

2018-04-03 16:42:31 UTC

i prefer mixing my own sauce for dipping though

2018-04-03 16:42:45 UTC

Share your ways please

2018-04-03 16:44:02 UTC

@porco they sell it as dark soy sauce here

2018-04-03 16:44:15 UTC

Can you name some brand?

2018-04-03 16:44:28 UTC

Its got two creepy kids on it

2018-04-03 16:44:48 UTC

There's a Thai brand called "healthy boy brand" but that's soy sauce, a ton of sugar and some tapioca starch

2018-04-03 16:44:53 UTC

Totally disgusting

2018-04-03 16:45:44 UTC

Sorry for quality, best I could find

2018-04-03 16:48:44 UTC

i dunno i just mix soy, vinegar, sasame oil as the necessary sauces and then add shacha or spicy stuff if i'm feeling up to it

2018-04-03 16:50:32 UTC

I'll try it out

2018-04-03 16:53:33 UTC

this stuff's good as a spicy thing to put in

2018-04-03 16:54:15 UTC

either the OG or vegetarian option works fine

2018-04-03 16:54:33 UTC

Oh we have that. My girlfriend used it one time to make fried chicken

2018-04-03 16:54:48 UTC

It was completely red fried chicken and tasted like fire

2018-04-03 16:54:55 UTC

nice

2018-04-03 16:56:07 UTC

as for the sauce it's completely up to preference the mix, but i usually just heavily eyeball it and do mostly soy, some vinegar, and a bit of sesame oil

2018-04-03 16:56:20 UTC

What kind of vinegar?

2018-04-03 16:56:26 UTC

just mix how you like for dipping

2018-04-03 16:56:36 UTC

Asian vinegar is quite different from what we get here

2018-04-03 16:56:59 UTC

... And then you see Asians putting balsamico into their dishes 👌

2018-04-03 16:57:07 UTC

i honestly dunno, i think it's rice vinegar?

2018-04-03 16:57:35 UTC

The same kind that you use for making sushi rice?

2018-04-03 16:57:45 UTC

That's rice vinegar

2018-04-03 16:57:50 UTC

it's been years since i made sushi

2018-04-03 16:57:55 UTC

so i can't answer that

2018-04-03 17:01:50 UTC

yeah i dunno the bottles i have are just labeled "white vinegar"

2018-04-03 17:02:47 UTC

i assume whatever the equivalent would work fine

2018-04-03 17:07:16 UTC

they do have a yellow tint to them though

2018-04-03 17:07:30 UTC

Could be rice vinegar

2018-04-03 17:08:46 UTC

It most probably is

2018-04-03 17:09:37 UTC

well, the translations i'm being given for 白醋 is rice vinegar despite it being literally "white vinegar"

2018-04-03 17:09:52 UTC

it's also translated into "white vinegar" according to another dictionary

2018-04-03 17:11:03 UTC

seems to be a mystery as to exactly what it is, but i think i'd assume rice vinegar just based off how my google of western "white vinegar" shows vinegar that is clear instead of yellow-tinted

2018-04-03 23:58:03 UTC

Asians only have rice vinegar

2018-04-04 23:57:56 UTC

lol

2018-04-05 00:10:37 UTC

Those dislikes
