Fuck that lmao
I'm trying to succeed in growing my own lemons for now
They're doing well but not even close to getting fruit
speaking of agriculture, i am incredibly intrigued by a full composting system
as in, the entire human and food waste of a building can be, if aided with some minor engineering, be converted into high-grade compost right on site
Yeah, that's a lot better use for feces than making burgers out of it
you can't even convince me that you believe that yourself
>Yeah, that's a lot better use for feces than making burgers out of it
^
It can but people poop is already converted to agricultural sludge in a central facility and it turns out people are doped to hell and back so it might not be the greatest thing to put into crops and foodwaste is hard to get people to actually put the right things in the right bins.
@porco how many poop burger vids you got?
doped to hell and back, well well well
i know of a painkiller medication that is oddly resistant to human digestion
diclophenat or something like that
it manages to bypass getting destroyed by your liver somehow and you just straight pee it out again, usually 90% of the dosage that you took comes right out again after numbing you
I wonder how I would go about growing my own food in an apartment style room
dont grow food indoors
Not even with a hydroponic setup?
thats how you get mold and your apartment will smell like a basement
Hmm yes I see
📝
by the way, you can grow *some* things indoors but dont expect it to be food, just spices and the sort
I'm planning on moving soon to a 3 bedroom house, I'll be renting two rooms out so I thought I could get away with having the setup in my room so I can keep shit to myself.
you can grow scallion at home
good for some freshness on your morning egg
noice
I might have some parsely, corriander, and mint on the window sill or something too
I used to do that and fresh mint is gr9 in tea
ye we grow mint too
but mostly outside
grow lots in the summer and either use it fresh or dry it up for autumn
this is <#189467888657235970> though
Right right
I forgot where I was
Apparently as long as you roast your own beans you're in the money
I e never tried fresh roasted beans but apparently it makes a huge difference
Don't drink coffee, but I grind the beans myself so I can keep them longer.
I hear quite often that it's better than bought powder, but that may also just be a compliment for the work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They start deteriorating from the moment they are roasted but once they are ground, that happens orders of magnitude more quickly
