sorry I forgot to mention the GB gamejack is a programmable ROM writer

I had a 32 megabit cartridge and you could dump all the LEGAL carts you owned to ROM files and then combine and re-upload them to this cart

the BIOS on the cart lets you pick the game to load when firing the gameboy up

i tried a VM running win98 and it didn't work either

but I got a thinkpad from 99 that i'll be trying next week, should work on it no problem

booted it off a DOS USB stick with the gamejack program on it

I think a pentium 4 is too fast for it

some digging online hinted that it's ability to transfer is fucked up on newer PCs
