2019-02-16 20:20:14 UTC

and here's the HQ smoothing

2019-02-16 20:20:32 UTC

without smoothing it would look awful being stretched to a 1280x1024 display

2019-02-16 20:22:40 UTC

has anyone here ever used bitchute

2019-02-16 20:23:01 UTC

i have to use it as a backup for when i get copyright cock-blocked

2019-02-16 20:23:46 UTC

there's no way to bypass their re-encoding process, unlike the old youtube days where if you used the adobe flash video encoder and stayed within certain parameters they'd leave it alone

2019-02-16 20:24:17 UTC

so since my master files all have 160kbps AAC LC audio they get re-encoded and it makes the music sound all fucking watery

2019-02-16 20:24:53 UTC

next batch I record is going to be 320kbps and I'll just lower my video bitrate

2019-02-16 20:29:15 UTC

I spent four lonely days in a brown LA haze and I just want you back by my side

posting 80s and 90s records keeps the boomers out of my comment section

2019-02-16 20:40:36 UTC

speaking of old video games

2019-02-16 20:41:02 UTC

trying to get my ancient GB GameJack from 1999 to work on a modern computer is a fail

2019-02-16 20:41:24 UTC

oldest thing I've got now is a P4 running XP and even in DOS it won't talk to the gamejack

2019-02-16 20:41:48 UTC

I'm thinking since it's a DOS program in the first place the CPU is too fast for it to work

2019-02-16 20:42:06 UTC

this is what I get for throwing away that old Pentium II laptop

2019-02-16 20:42:24 UTC

I need to keep at least one working 90s laptop around that has soundblaster native support in DOS

2019-02-16 20:43:07 UTC

sorry I forgot to mention the GB gamejack is a programmable ROM writer

2019-02-16 20:43:40 UTC

I had a 32 megabit cartridge and you could dump all the LEGAL carts you owned to ROM files and then combine and re-upload them to this cart

2019-02-16 20:44:36 UTC

the BIOS on the cart lets you pick the game to load when firing the gameboy up

2019-02-16 21:52:36 UTC

Vmware

2019-02-16 21:53:11 UTC

best bet I reckon

2019-02-16 22:06:46 UTC

ai manga art

2019-02-16 22:43:26 UTC

i tried a VM running win98 and it didn't work either

2019-02-16 22:43:42 UTC

but I got a thinkpad from 99 that i'll be trying next week, should work on it no problem

2019-02-16 22:51:13 UTC

@Matthew looks like shit!!

2019-02-16 22:51:24 UTC

up grade your graphics kiddo!!!

2019-02-16 22:52:25 UTC

hah

2019-02-16 22:55:14 UTC

You sure you mounted it properly before opening the guest os

2019-02-16 22:55:24 UTC

yeah direct hardware mapping

2019-02-16 22:55:32 UTC

did I mention this thing needs an ECP parallel port

2019-02-16 22:58:06 UTC

it's possible one of these CPU slowdown programs might make it work

2019-02-16 22:58:17 UTC

the comms program is DOS but there's a GUI to launch it

2019-02-16 23:00:25 UTC

wonder if there's a modern version of this kind of thing that just uses an SD card

2019-02-16 23:01:34 UTC

since it can be used illegally nintendo has likely sued everyone out of the business

2019-02-16 23:01:45 UTC

or just gotten it banned on ebay and amazon

2019-02-16 23:03:25 UTC

if I can get it to work i can sell it on ebay and just buy a raspi boy
