I saw a thread on Reddit the other day asking who could beat Trump. I thought about replying, but it was pretty clear from all the replies that it was just a leftist hugbox and anything I said would just be downvoted and ignored.
Maybe it's not as solid a rule as I think it is, but for the last sixty years or so, the only times a president failed to get reelected was when consumers didn't have faith in the economy.

not happy about this one (outside of obvious situations like during a burn banning). As much as I think that people that burn the american flag are awful people who don't understand how great our country is, I still think they should be allowed to do so, as long as they aren't doing it in a way that harms other people

Obviously it could be a slippery slope though, so I probs wouldn't support it actually being written into law.
the one thing I _will_ grant to trump and the people pursuing this is - at least they're taking the right avenue (making it an amendment, instead of just legislating it into being)

I don't like this proposal either, but at LEAST they're intending to use the right avenues to attempt to put it into action
At least it's a constitutional amendment so there's little chance it will pass
