It's interesting
it looks weird but in a good way
I don't understand how it became a thing, it's just a hodgepodge of stuff that doesn't really go together, but I still like it for some reason
it was a pre-internet meme-food
Is this one of those Top 10 Anime Crossover things the youths tweet about?

You can only hide from the truth for so long
I wonder how long that photo will manage to be representative of the state of the West. I think it was originally from Unite the Right back in 2017, so it's already managed to stay relevant for a few years.
@C1PHER you mention the "Unite the Right" and it made me think of that Charlottesville riot (was the Unite the Right?...idk) where one person died.
That's the same thing, yeah.
that dude just got jailed for a long while a few weeks back
now sanity check me ya'll, but is it just me or are "The Left" blowing out of proportion the loss of one life and/or using that woman's death as a political tool way too frequently?
they absolutely are
Seems kinda....dirty, but I personally feel dirty and callous by....not particularly caring about her death?
:/
I agree. I'm in the same boat. I missed the Charlottesville crap anyway as I was traveling a lot around that weekend but most of the information coming out of it seems conflicting at best. That particular death seems very odd as well. Some people claim he drove into a crowed, others claim he got trapped in a mass of people and tried to back out of it. I dont know which is right or which is wrong, but I do know they are seriously overplaying it because it is the one example of (potential) violence from the right they can point to
Yeah, the whole weekend was just a clusterfuck. It seems to me that the death of Heather Heyer is talked about so much that it gets used as a sort of smoke screen for a lot of the left-wing agitators that were there that weekend. Trump was indeed correct that there were bad people on both sides, but people act like it's sacrilege to equate the two sides since only one got a murder charge/conviction.
Cool.
I occasionally try to do sanity checks to make sure I'm not falling off the deep end.
