tragic victims of blonde's disease

2019-06-23 14:30:42 UTC

that's why you never feminism

2019-06-23 14:30:44 UTC

not even once

2019-06-23 14:33:30 UTC

That's a nice sentiment, but even people who aren't feminist have to deal with the nonsense its created...

2019-06-23 14:34:09 UTC

i guess by "you" i meant "the world"

2019-06-23 14:34:27 UTC

:)

2019-06-23 14:59:48 UTC

I should have given up the peen I could have saved some lady lives

2019-06-23 15:19:18 UTC

Women should be getting married and finishing their babymaking before 25

2019-06-23 15:23:23 UTC

While it is true that we have created a unhealthy balance for women (by saying they can have it all).
"Women should" Do whatever they want to do, and hopefully more will start to make better choices in life.

2019-06-23 15:23:59 UTC

@[DGI]tech I would disagree about the polygamy statement.

Depending on the societal demographics and culture, polygamy is a useful way of repopulation.

For instance, after a major war, and in a patriarchal society. When you have a vast overabundance of women to men and society doesn't allow women the same rights as men, polygamy is a valuable means for taking care of widows and fatherless children.

Even if you aren't in a patriarchal society, if you have two women to every man, is it better that half the female population develops blondes disease?

2019-06-23 15:24:03 UTC

No one feels two spits of pity when someone says, "Men should protect women"

2019-06-23 15:24:24 UTC

You are talking to no one then...

2019-06-23 15:24:27 UTC

So, as far as I'm concerned, saying "women should" and implying a responsibility to civilization is just fine.

2019-06-23 15:25:43 UTC

I never tell "Men they should protect women", that would be foolish.

2019-06-23 15:26:34 UTC

You can depersonalize, since that wasn't an accusation.

2019-06-23 15:26:57 UTC

I'm more then happy to start giving women more responsibility, but this doesn't mean we control peoples actions.

2019-06-23 15:28:02 UTC

@Jeremy-Retard I wasn't taking it personal, just pointing out that it wasn't always true.

2019-06-23 15:28:20 UTC

Female incels are only a danger to themselves so nobody worries about them

2019-06-23 15:30:16 UTC

@DJ_Anuz gets it...
I know a couple. He is very much straight. She is bi. They have a live in girlfriend who discovered she's not as lesbian as they thought.
Between them now I think they have 8 kids, and all year long, one or the other or both is pregnant. I don't even visit anymore, too many kids running around.

2019-06-23 15:30:22 UTC

Not always being true says nothing about the prevalence by which it is true.

2019-06-23 15:31:08 UTC

It does when you say "no one".

2019-06-23 15:31:23 UTC

Yes, and technically you did not address what I said.

2019-06-23 15:32:40 UTC

My contention has only been on your choice of believing what people should do with their lives, which isn't up to anyone but the people themselves.

2019-06-23 15:33:24 UTC

You're individualizing a generalized statement of how life paths should go.

2019-06-23 15:33:46 UTC

Saying "women should" is not a direct instruction to individuals.

2019-06-23 15:34:10 UTC

@Mandatory Carry nothing against your friends, but that sounds like the height of degeneracy! BTW what exactly are they repopulating?

2019-06-23 15:34:49 UTC

How general do you want it to be? 90% 80-20 50/50? At which point are you talking about what women should do, or what some women should do.

2019-06-23 15:35:22 UTC

You can spin yourself up as much as you want on that question, it doesn't impact what I said at all.

2019-06-23 15:35:41 UTC

You said what women should do... I'm asking how many.

2019-06-23 15:35:57 UTC

And I'm under no obligation to de-generalize my statement.

2019-06-23 15:36:22 UTC

Neat, so i guess we aren't talking about any people at all then.

2019-06-23 15:37:12 UTC

Yes, philosophical discussions of how people in general might best live their life are impossible unless you specify an individual.

2019-06-23 15:37:16 UTC

funny

2019-06-23 15:38:37 UTC

Its a terrible standard for a philosophy then, as most people won't follow it.

2019-06-23 15:38:56 UTC

Well, maybe not terrible, but not ideal.

2019-06-23 15:38:58 UTC

@scaevola honestly, if they are consistent and don't sleep around with others outside of that relationship. I don't see it as all that degenerate.

Though right now we're not in a cultural situation where polygamy enmass is justified, and will result in more incels.

2019-06-23 15:39:43 UTC

Anyone who follows a philosophy doesn't understand the purpose of philosophy

2019-06-23 15:39:51 UTC

*"Judge not, lest ye be judged yourself; And by the measure ye judge, so shalt ye **BE***" ¿or is it **be**? *"judged."*
I know more about the history here that *isn't mine to tell,* but the short-short version is, I choose to encourage them to be them.
And a great irony, ¿are you sitting down?, is that he is the least conservative of the bunch... Very right-center, v. hard right/harder right. (The not-so-lesbian is one of those "scary right" types other than neo-nazi.)
@scaevola

2019-06-23 15:49:57 UTC

That makes sense of why they are into a polygamous relationship then.

2019-06-23 15:51:09 UTC

I agree with DJ that polygamy is an adaptive response to certain environmental factors. Often I think a response to a high violence rate with the women rapidly repopulating with the stock of 'survivor' men.
