Do you guys consider property tax a form of wealth tax? I do and I think it should be done away with.
The only "acceptable" tax in my eyes is sales tax, because I am willingly buying something, no one is forcing me to buy it.
Property tax is done on a state level so can be legal. If a state wanted to do a wealth tax likely OK
and yes property tax is a form of wealth tax
I don't like those. the way I explain it is imagine they had a computer or cellphone tax. If you fail to pay the government seizes the item. That's nothing more than the government saying we own this item and you're just renting it.
