but they might want to just throw the towel and not have a governor at all. less stress.
At what point do they just declare a do over of the last election?
Or call up Ed Gillespie and say 'We're sorry, please save us.'
There is a good chance nothing will happen.
Yeah, it's kinda looking like that at this point.
I actually think its better if the republicans don't push for resignation, and instead hold the hypocrisy over the Dems head. Also, Fairfax deserves due process over his allegation, and the costume thing is stupid. The infantcide/eugenics thing on the other hand is something I am okay kicking someone out of office for. We shouldn't be okay with people holding office and advocating changing the law to murder people.
Still its on the people of virginia to make the push.
@grant I agree, i was going to type something like the only thing i would kick him from office for is the abortion idea's (but i still need to see what is meant by that. I mean if they were healthy babies, or they find it has some kind of defect, then it would be considered, or just straight abortions even after birth).
I think you got to be careful with that to. What if baby has no arm but otherwise healthy? What if the baby is ill but they can easily save it and it will have a healthy life?
@Shadows so you are in favor for murdering disabled babies
@grant Yes, i didn't say if it was good or bad, i just want to know what they mean.
Who cares? It's state allowed murder
Of babies
I think I understand what your saying @Shadows but neither of those are good. so retreating to a position of killing for eugenics is still a bad spot.
@SpanishAbbey I care about all information, to help better form an my world view.
Also, I'd like all the politicians have to weigh in on where they draw the lines. It seems a lot like the DNC lied about where it stood on abortion during the last presidential election, and the media gave them cover.
You mean like every other election cycle?
pretty much
The vast majority of Americans consistently poll to the right of where the law actually is. Doesn't mean they're all complete ban, but they're for much more restrictions then the law actually has. The problem is the media and DNC has them believing its much more restricted than it actually is.
^ Same problem with taxes. People say they want to tax the rich more. When asked what tax rate they would make, they put a percentage much lower than the actual taxes. The media and DNC have tricked people. The media never make the democrats actually name the percentage.
Yep
And they always throw out the percentages instead of real figures when it comes to the brackets so people don’t have any idea of who it actually affects
Bernie was caught off guard in that town hall when the guy asked him what he will do for small businesses and all he can say was “oh the devil’s in the details”
And it’s like... no it isn’t
Cause technically the guy asking you shit is a millionaire
He’s just rich in property, not actual liquid assets
And if you have to pay taxes on everything, well, that would just mean no one would go into business or build anything anymore
Cause what would be the point
that was the townhall with Lying Ted wasnt it? When he also turned around to that hairsalon owner and basically said "yes, you are evil as well" when asked about medium sized businesses being made to pay for health insurance
I think so
I never saw him up until then really, just clips and stuff. I was amazed at how poor his debating skills were and how inhuman he was in the face of the electorate
The guy couch surfed until he got elected to Congress by the time of Rameses II
Since then he’s been nothing but a leech prevented from seeing any salt by the left in general
And keep in mind VT is one of the whitest states in the union
indeed it is
its all that snow lol
Everyone’s getting the Michael Jackson treatment
ROFL
including the false allegations? lol We can leave those out, I'm fine with that
