wut?

2019-03-27 22:41:13 UTC

Is any term for people that doesn't include person dehumanizing?

2019-03-27 22:41:44 UTC

Also cyclists aren't human

2019-03-27 22:54:56 UTC

If you feel dehumanized for being called a cyclist, you deserve to be dehumanized.

Beat him with a book.

2019-03-27 23:21:33 UTC

"average"

2019-03-27 23:24:32 UTC

Why would you put Miscellaneous and What's left in different spots.....

2019-03-27 23:25:51 UTC

My guess is miscellaneous is something like car repairs or new fridge, so it should be called an emergency fun, and what's left should be savings

2019-03-27 23:29:44 UTC

Ya, but if nothing comes up (but its good to save money for this anyway). It still should be put in the same place.

2019-03-27 23:42:02 UTC

childcare = nannies
property taxes and mortgage on $1.5m. why don't you downsize?
THREE VACATIONS A YEAR
do you need to own a BMW? why not a Ford?

2019-03-27 23:43:25 UTC

They probably feel average where they live

2019-03-27 23:44:16 UTC

To be fair, in SF you could definitely feel pretty average with $500,000 a year

2019-03-27 23:49:12 UTC

They still have debt, which I would suggest pulling from some areas to pay down more.

2019-03-27 23:52:47 UTC

I'm guessing they both have demanding jobs which necessitates the high childcare cost, probably a problem for a lot of couples now a days that both the man and woman are expected to work.

2019-03-27 23:54:09 UTC

3 vacations a year that cost a total of $18k, too

2019-03-27 23:54:10 UTC

holy shit

2019-03-27 23:54:37 UTC

every one of my (1 to 2 day long vacations) each year are "I stay at home and don't have to work"

2019-03-27 23:54:43 UTC

yes, that's totally "average"

2019-03-27 23:54:49 UTC

also

2019-03-27 23:54:55 UTC

18k to charity?

2019-03-27 23:55:09 UTC

if they feel like they don't make enough money, maybe don't give to charity?

2019-03-27 23:55:37 UTC

I'd give a lot more than that at that income honestly

2019-03-27 23:55:53 UTC

sure, but if they're complaining about their salary feeling "average"

2019-03-27 23:55:56 UTC

well, that's a fix for it

2019-03-27 23:56:14 UTC

also, I barely save more fun money than them per year, and I'm living in my family home still to cut down on costs

2019-03-27 23:56:19 UTC

Yeah but then they're "greedy"

2019-03-27 23:56:35 UTC

AND I spend basically 0 money

2019-03-27 23:57:20 UTC

(also it's not really "fun money" it's "I want to be able to buy a house when I move out, not rent an apartment and watch my money go down a drain" money)

2019-03-27 23:59:22 UTC

Between the tax rate and the childcare cost, it seems like they might not lose much from one of them not working

2019-03-28 00:07:25 UTC

the point i was making is that it's all about the financial choices you make. you can live way below your means and actually retire a lot sooner

2019-03-28 00:08:49 UTC

Yep.

2019-03-28 00:13:21 UTC

Sounds weird unless you realize they are well on the way to automating https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/27/mcdonalds-reportedly-to-stop-lobbying-against-minimum-wage-hikes.html

2019-03-28 00:22:31 UTC

Yeah, just cuts down on potential competition at this point

2019-03-28 00:25:19 UTC

yeah, sounds like they got everything in place to replace the jobs they're going to lose

2019-03-28 00:25:46 UTC

So from they're point of view it hurts their competitors more

2019-03-28 00:26:42 UTC

the most important part in the article....McDonalds wants it applied to all buisnesses

2019-03-28 00:46:49 UTC

I mean, is there any more iconic action for a massive corporation to take than to kick down the ladder on anyone that wants to follow in their path?

2019-03-28 00:52:34 UTC

And that's how you monopoly

2019-03-28 00:53:14 UTC

ehhh burger king etc can match. Its the small buissness that would be fucked
