If you really believe that social justice bullshit doesn’t jive with the real world and is distasteful to nearly everyone then you have no need to fear them doing this. Sure it’ll be a while before another good Bond movie but it’s a small price to pay for such strong self-owning

I just accept the death of franchises I once loved and move on to find something better. The good stuff is still out there, just harder to find.

It's well past time for new IP anyway. Starve the Hollywood parasites, buy books from small independent authors. They're usually cheap and some of them are even pretty good.

I was just browsing through the cheap eBooks on Amazon and I came across a series called the Void Wraith Saga. It was 99 cents for a six-book set.

It was hokey sci-fantasy but it was decently well written and far better entertainment for the dollar (probably 8-10 hours of reading for a dollar) than I would have gotten from a mainstream publisher.

It had plenty of kick-ass female characters in it but it also had kick-ass male characters, fun alien critters, creepy monsters and space mechs.
