I really don't understand why people can't accept that Religious extremists from Saudi Arabia hate Jews and the US enough to plow airplanes into the WTC.
And that any jewish connection isn't coincidental because the muslims wanted to kill/attack jews.
This is the religion which has whole chapters dedicated to the reasons and methods behind their hatred of Jews.
Like people don't understand that the Muslim Brotherhood is a thinktank for how to kill Jews. Imagine the Heritage foundation except dedicated to the massacre of the Navajo nation or some shit.
Also during the Holocaust, Muslims strongly supported Hitler in his actions and envied him because they were unable to carry out the genocide themselves

I think it's not that they actually disbelieve that muslims hate jews enough to try their best to murder them at every turn, though some certainly believe that. I think it's more that most conspiracy theorists have a pet theory that they latch on to and suddenly it is the truth to them.

I was thinking a little on the UBI and how one would go about making it more practical and palatable on the assumption that it must be implemented
how do you still cover people who need to live but still allow for enterprise and people to earn a living
I was thinking maybe something along the lines of Starship Troopers with the idea of service guarantees citizenship
the basic civilians would receive a modest income from the state just enough to get by but they don't get voting rights
the next tier up would be for people who serve society in some capacity even in small ways like volunteering, nursing,military police etc they'd get a large income and have voting rights (wages adjusted to the position)
the third class would be your regular worker
I think if UBI is going to happen this seems at least somewhat fair implementation of the system
