Just hold it. No reason not to.

The most amazing part is realizing that out of all our your relationships, even with your spouse, that with your young child, they literally love you unconditional and you are the other parent are literally the people they love more than anyone

The reason not is I don't want to hold a baby

There are literally a dozen reasons not to hold a baby

It's a divine experience

1) You weren't given permission to hold that baby. The police are coming.

Holding a pooping/ puking baby would probably not be divine but if it's ok and mellow it would be nice

I'd rather hold a cat

That's 3 just off the top of my head on why you should not hold a baby

@Nic Harvard I know. It's sad. But for me, that divine experience also shows the importance of good parenting

So as much as I love them... I’ll only die happy after I’ve managed to teach my grandkids to play chess (etc, whatever their thing is)
