Really the whole alpha and beta dynamic is not completely well adapted human characteristic paradigms. I mean I would consider a someone like Robert Oppenheimer, Bob Ross, Thomas Sowell, Bill Burr, and Tom Brady all to be alpha males. They are/were at a pinnacle of _competency_ within their own domains, and were strong, independent, and successful.

Compared to... well, I guess the typical "alpha male" wouldn't even be in a situation to see something happening to their kids, really
