Download myfitnesspal, set a goal of losing 1lb per week, set your lifestyle to "not active" or "sedentary" and accurately input what you eat. If you have any doubts as to how many calories is in something, just overestimate it. Eventually you'll just gain an intuition for it though @Danacrag

Dont even drink soda

2019-12-23 15:21:24 UTC

I need a good Noin pfp

2019-12-23 15:25:04 UTC

@Danacrag like I said thats not enough and usually when people say that they're still drinking a lot of other suggery drinks. Practice dicipline, only drink water, count calories

2019-12-23 15:26:28 UTC

Really more food than drink is my issue

2019-12-23 15:26:42 UTC

Yeah but that's why I say count calories

2019-12-23 15:26:57 UTC

With MyFitnessPal

2019-12-23 15:27:44 UTC

>counting calories

2019-12-23 15:28:10 UTC

Just eat a lot of good (nutritionally), and burn off anything bad

2019-12-23 15:28:11 UTC

Simple as

2019-12-23 15:28:58 UTC

You realize for a fat person it's way harder to start eating right and excersizing than it is just to count calories right?

2019-12-23 15:29:25 UTC

They're fat because they're weak willed so you have to give them an easy task like counting calories and stop drinking soda

2019-12-23 15:29:37 UTC

Once they build up some self discipline they can do other stuff

2019-12-23 15:32:12 UTC

@Danacrag Check out intermittent fasting, it promotes muscle growth and gets rid of fat. Look onto insulin, leptin, gherlin. Lifting weights does better for fat loss than running, because your body constantly is losing weight if you regularly lift, versus just losing pounds when you are running. Running is still good, though, but jump rope is even better. Low carb diets are also very good.

2019-12-23 15:33:15 UTC

Intermittent fasting + running is good but she won't be able to maintain that since she currently lacks any self discipline when it comes to food

2019-12-23 15:33:32 UTC

I'd say baby steps

2019-12-23 15:33:51 UTC

Eh I guess

2019-12-23 15:34:48 UTC

Lower ghrelin, increase leptin, and decrease insulin. @Danacrag

2019-12-23 15:35:48 UTC

Running is ok but I feel like it's overrated, lifting is much better for losing weight long term

2019-12-23 15:35:56 UTC

I was 260lbs at my heaviest and how I'm 200 and nearing the AirForce fitness standards. I just give advice based on my experience. I started by not drinking sugary drinks, then doing MyFitnessPal, then I started running, then I started going to the gym and trying to eat more healthy

2019-12-23 15:36:39 UTC

I'm just a 15 year old who was really fucking skinny a year ago, I don't got any huge story lol

2019-12-23 15:37:07 UTC

Started with 100 pushups a day (not in a row) and eventually graduated from calisthenics and threw together a home gym

2019-12-23 15:37:15 UTC

Nice

2019-12-23 15:37:28 UTC

Not that calisthenics are bad or anything but weights are cooler

2019-12-23 15:38:00 UTC

I think the advanced calisthenics stuff is cooler and way more of a flex but I just lift weights rn

2019-12-23 15:38:10 UTC

Yeah like muscle ups

2019-12-23 15:38:23 UTC

I wanna try muscle ups but the pull up bar I have is uh

2019-12-23 15:39:09 UTC

The pull up bar is the blue thingie, if I did a muscle up on that it'd fall over and I'd die lol

2019-12-23 15:39:10 UTC

That's pretty nice

2019-12-23 15:39:13 UTC

Thanks

2019-12-23 15:39:58 UTC

My mom got the treadmill from a friend for free, the bench press I got from my uncle for free, and the dumbbells my dad got me for my birthday

2019-12-23 15:40:11 UTC

Looking to add a punching bag with my own cash

2019-12-23 15:40:42 UTC

I pretty much only have dumbells and I got those for free

2019-12-23 15:40:56 UTC

You can do a lot with dumbbells

2019-12-23 15:41:00 UTC

Anyways I gotta go

2019-12-23 15:41:00 UTC

Cya

2019-12-23 15:41:16 UTC

Cya

2019-12-23 15:45:48 UTC

I think my main issue is snacking outside my main meals

2019-12-23 15:46:41 UTC

Possibly but if you counted calories all of that would be taken into the count

2019-12-23 15:53:23 UTC

@Danacrag do you exercise
