though much of the bible suffers in translation and from what I can tell otthodoxy has the dogma and tradidtions handed down that predate text

So, the long and short of it is that the saints are watching over us, and that we're asking them to pray to God on our behalf that he might hear our prayers. They are not divine, they are not being prayed to as we pray to God. They are simply people who lived holy lives and are praying all of us

The saviour Himself gave us His portrait. Moved to compassion, He wiped His sacred face with a towel for the sick prince Abgar. When the sick prince prayed before this icon of the Saviour, that had not been made with hands (*pictured above*), he was healed of his illness.

I think that's a good idea, so I don't clog up this channel and piss off the pagans
