so the psychoanalytic view
would be that we must nurture our pain
And by bettering myself I dont mean by helping myself but I mean by trying to make myself a better person like a good person.
as part of us is still infantile
and it needs to be parented
and often our parents make mistakes
Which lead to all sorts of beliefs
and sometimes trauma
and delusions
there's a lot of consequences to such simple mistakes
Yes there are
so in this view
Imagine playing with clay
http://hiddenlolcdn.com/i/225643.png ''think of the childred''
and that clay you use to make the world around you
the people you know
.etc
but its all you
the person you hate. you dont hate them
thats a construction that you made and hate. its you
I don't really hate anyone
And learn to hold it almost
you get the idea though right?
Yes.
I do.
So a person who feels like a parent abandoned them. They might construct this narrative many times
You see it with some guys who really struggle with women
They might only know the abandonment they felt in childhood
so they unconsciously construct it again
How?
you guys commies?
in many ways
yeah im a commie
I'm not.
cool, communism doesnt work
ok thanks
np
Um
Yeah so if all someone knows lets say, abandonment by women starting with a mother, they will do all sorts of things like get into destructive relationships.etc
Because that pain is unresolved
