Then explain why no nation can form a narrative to describe ISIS, after 17 years, being wiped out.

2018-03-26 19:57:42 UTC

Bump my thread comrades

2018-03-26 19:57:42 UTC

ISIS is a narrative that is arguably irrelevant. And anyway the USA can only do as much as other nations let them - 10 years ago they marched into Iraq, Could they do that today? No.

2018-03-26 19:57:48 UTC

15* years ago

2018-03-26 19:57:54 UTC

perception of time is wrong in my mind

2018-03-26 19:58:17 UTC

@fannybandit where are you from?

2018-03-26 19:58:18 UTC

No one is marching anywhere currently due to ISIS being wiped out.

2018-03-26 19:58:28 UTC

ISIS was the greatest threat to the world.

2018-03-26 19:58:34 UTC

No it isn't

2018-03-26 19:58:39 UTC

Yes, it isn't.

2018-03-26 19:58:41 UTC

It was.

2018-03-26 19:58:43 UTC

The greatest threat to the USA is China.

2018-03-26 19:58:45 UTC

It never was

2018-03-26 19:58:59 UTC

I don't see China and the US militaristically fighting.

2018-03-26 19:59:16 UTC

Look, you may have been told the USA rules the world

2018-03-26 19:59:19 UTC

its not factual anymore

2018-03-26 19:59:22 UTC

it was 10 years ago

2018-03-26 19:59:24 UTC

not anymore

2018-03-26 19:59:31 UTC

geopolitics has shifted so far since then

2018-03-26 19:59:33 UTC

I can form my own assessment.

2018-03-26 19:59:47 UTC

I base mine on militaristic capabilities and strategic placement.

2018-03-26 19:59:48 UTC

and when the USA finally realises they're not number 1 thats when the danger arises.

2018-03-26 19:59:57 UTC

I base mine on my International Relations lecturer

2018-03-26 20:00:01 UTC

who arguably knows more.

2018-03-26 20:00:05 UTC

Tbh China ruled the world now

2018-03-26 20:00:18 UTC

No China doesn't, there is no clear ruler.

2018-03-26 20:00:42 UTC

They are already colonizing Africa

2018-03-26 20:00:56 UTC

If China ruled the world, explain this...

2018-03-26 20:01:03 UTC

That doesn't give them an edge over the USA or Russia or the EU

2018-03-26 20:01:09 UTC

This is real politics.

2018-03-26 20:01:11 UTC

The geopolitical stage is anarchy.

2018-03-26 20:01:17 UTC

there is no clear ruler.

2018-03-26 20:01:27 UTC

Yes, I agree.

2018-03-26 20:01:43 UTC

However, pieces are moving on the chess-board.

2018-03-26 20:01:43 UTC

It used to be the USA from the end of the coldwar until the Syrian civil war

2018-03-26 20:01:57 UTC

now we are at a point in geopolitics where theres no country who could be said to be the only superpower

2018-03-26 20:02:07 UTC

The question isn't "who's in control?".

2018-03-26 20:02:21 UTC

The question is "who's gaining control?".

2018-03-26 20:02:46 UTC

According to military activity, the United States is winning.
