Ireland was mostly kind of socialist in the earlier days or wanted to be since Irish revolutionaries seemed to really like socialism and thought it a good idea. Then Ireland had some economic problems. Of course thats not much to start corruption either Deus. But yeah Irish revolutionaries have their hearts in the right place and big hearts too., True soldiers. It's a pity the didnt know that capitalism was superior. Maybe they just thought everything british was bad which makes sense due to our history together.
Even later IRAs (the ones I dont like and who kill innocent people on purpose) became commies and due to that ended up tricking north koreans. I think north korea seems to be kind of fond of Ireland due to how we fought against imperialists and had socialist revolutionaries. Even a north korean general (I think he was a general atleast) congratulated a really good president of ours for getting elected.
Not to mention both Ireland and north korea wants to be reunified with the rest of its country and had ties with the USSR. Especially the IRA commies.
