Well pin it then😂

2017-11-27 03:08:24 UTC

Here's a good one

2017-11-27 03:08:40 UTC

A better one

2017-11-27 16:01:46 UTC

Another idea I am working on

2017-11-27 16:01:53 UTC

2017-11-27 16:02:58 UTC

2017-11-27 16:18:10 UTC

That looks great. Would poster.

2017-11-27 17:29:11 UTC

Probably can't use because of photo, but still love this.

2017-11-27 17:30:17 UTC

That design seems too 1.0, to be frank.

2017-11-27 17:30:33 UTC

2017-11-27 17:30:42 UTC

yea it may be good, but not for PF

2017-11-27 17:31:44 UTC

My criticism of the "this is our home" design is that the symbolism should be a bit more... masculine. Our target demographic isn't women here, and the wheatfields stuff gets a bit played out.

Rugged pioneer-explorer-conqueror-warrior, not so much motherly figures.

2017-11-27 17:31:54 UTC

A lot of our posters are politically oriented. Am playing around with trying to reach man's emotions like family

2017-11-27 17:32:22 UTC

ehhh I guess it depends on who you are recruiting

2017-11-27 17:32:52 UTC

are men not attracted to imagery of women?

2017-11-27 17:33:27 UTC

On swimsuit magazines, sure, but not for organizations based on radical street activism.

2017-11-27 17:33:46 UTC

2017-11-27 17:34:07 UTC

but defending the family is a motiivation for lot of us

2017-11-27 17:34:16 UTC

but maybe that is not good for recruiting

2017-11-27 17:34:46 UTC

Family stuff is for actually doing, and we can promote it that way, showing that people are actually doing it, having big meets with families, things like that.

But when it comes to activism, that's the outward set of teeth, aggression, power, forward momentum, attack attack attack, is the feeling you should be going for.

2017-11-27 17:34:51 UTC

it kind of humanizes the org in a way

2017-11-27 17:35:09 UTC

i see

2017-11-27 17:35:32 UTC

so more aggressive and power oriented designs?

2017-11-27 17:36:23 UTC

When it comes to complex things like family support and all that, **show don't tell.** We can show our community of family oriented guys, and it'll do way better than just telling people we're pro family in a poster.

2017-11-27 17:36:46 UTC

not to sound like a jerk, but what is the exact purpose of the posters

2017-11-27 17:36:50 UTC

to trigger and to recruit

2017-11-27 17:36:53 UTC

2017-11-27 17:37:11 UTC

Yes, in a nutshell

2017-11-27 17:37:19 UTC

Also, they're widely circulated, and form as a basis for promoting a brand, of sorts.

2017-11-27 17:37:32 UTC

On top of that, they help bring people up to speed with small scale activism.

2017-11-27 17:37:38 UTC

So they can work their way up.

2017-11-27 17:37:54 UTC

yea that makes sense

2017-11-27 17:38:24 UTC

my fav poster right now is the welcome one

2017-11-27 17:38:59 UTC

because I think it is actually something that has a clear meaninful message. How all that is good is under attack. I wanted to go more in that direction.

2017-11-27 17:39:07 UTC

Not here not ever with the eagle will always get me.

2017-11-27 17:40:13 UTC

i guess symbols about communism and jews are powerful and recruit a certain awaken individual

2017-11-27 17:40:42 UTC

For instance, with the "this is our home" slogan, it could benefit from adding in a call to action in the form of "fight for it!" as well. And showing an idealized figure of an activist with a flag and mask, or something of that caliber.

2017-11-27 17:40:59 UTC

I agree

2017-11-27 17:41:12 UTC

call to actions are empowerig and are our core, since we are activists

2017-11-27 18:01:58 UTC

If you're looking for working ideas maybe find old pictures or artwork of pioneers / settlers / cowboy like images with men armed leading their family into the frontier sort of thing.

Love family centered images because that is why I am here but an image of a baby or a white women alone is not enough maybe.

I think images that are masculine and aggressive both trigger Marxist trash which means spotlight and also shames/challenges/inspires young men to rise to the fight. Images that are too soft even if they are something precious don't hit all the points at once. Only my opinion.
