here's the basic tenant @jaruspk. you can put EVERYTHING in your life into a binary, things you can change and things you cannot. if you can change the situation, fucking good! if you cant, dont even invest emotionally.

when im driving in the car and my GF starts yelling at me because i made a wrong turn. i just turn around. why should i get upset? what good could it do? can i change how she feels? no

if im at the range and it starts raining, i think "thank the gods i can train in adverse weather"! why not turn a bad situation into mental training
