Personally I think it's better than BoB and Pacific. Those shows were excellent but Generation Kill actually shows what Marines are really like. Heroism in media can be as accurate as it can be, but in the end it's propaganda... even if the propaganda is true. But Gen Kill shows you what that shit really is... shit.
