One personal pet peeve was the fact that the devs decided to invest all that time into settlement building mechanics (even though no player asked for it), but when you build defensive walls and structures to keep raiders out, you quicklu discover that they do fuck all because raiding parties can spawn in right in the center of your settlement, making defensive walls completely moot.

I spent a lot of time manually building settlements but I like sim settlements and have involvement set to medium to where I mostly just need to donate materials and guns and stuff to the city plan desk and itll mostly just build itself
