<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question ๐
- Is Christianity at odds with science or is science a Christian field?
Science is Christian.
Isaac Newton.
Guy who made the big bang theory.
end of ok thanks.
The Big Bang is just a way of explaining how god created the universe to idiot atheists
The science worshipping atheist is the pinnacle of Dunning Kruger
Science isn't just 'knowledge of the physical world', it is also a method. In science, we observe a phenomenon, formulate a hypothesis that explains it, test the hypothesis, then conclude whether or not it accurately describes the phenomenon. If our hypothesis survives rigorous testing, we turn it into a theory (a scientific theory being defined as an explanation of the natural world that can make accurate predictions about the future). Christianity does not follow the scientific method, Christianity does not analyze data, then formulate a conclusion. Christianity starts with the conclusion (despite the lack of evidence supporting it), then works backwards and attempts to find things that validate it
Christianity is unscientific. Sure, Christians can enjoy science just as much as anyone else and you can list great Christian scientists all day, but that does not mean Christianity itself is scientific. Science is actually at odds with Christianity! We know that the universe is not 6,000 years old. We know that it was not created in six days. We know that there was no global flood, and we also found no evidence of mass Hebrew enslavement in Egypt.
wanna get crucified
oh come on
what kinda response is that?
@Based Virginian Hours#9308
lol
Bruh
Considering science and religion are completely different fields, why should christianity follow the scientific method?
The 6 days thing is moreso God assigning roles to the universe.
lmao
God assigned roles in the wrong order
Science does not generate truth, but useful explainations.
Yeah I don't see why theists would want to say religion and science are the same
you must be small brain to consider that
bruh wow thatโs so atheist thinking
@Deleted User uhhh what
<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question ๐
- What's your stance of predestination? Is it a logical consequence of an omnipotent God or is it a heresy?

@Maksim I'd say that it isn't in any way valid
God gave us free will but knows all the choices we can make using that free will
Simple as
@Deleted User norf fc
Its like getting pissed off at a computer for doing what it was programmed to do
God literally knows what we are going to do
